Join us December 16 for a talk with former Supreme Allied Commander of the NATO Alliance, former Dean of the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and retired 4-star Naval officer, Admiral James Stavridis. His new book Sailing True North: Ten Admirals and the Voyage of Character is out October 15.
Admiral Stavridis will be interviewed by NPR special correspondent and host, Melissa Block. Melissa Block is a special correspondent and guest host of NPR’s news programs, bringing her signature combination of warmth and incisive reporting. She has earned some of the top honors in broadcast journalism, including the 2018 James Beard Award, the 2019 Murrow Lifetime Achievement Award in Journalism and a Fulbright Lifetime Achievement Award. Her reporting has taken her everywhere from the Mississippi Gulf Coast to the heart of Rio de Janeiro; from rural Mozambique to the farthest reaches of Alaska and China.
